Charlie Benton emailed me the sad news of Mr. Bowen's passing. My family has known the Bowens since the 1960's when Mark, Doug, and I were 'young' and my Mother taught at Timmerman School with Mrs. Bowen as the secretary. Mr. and Mrs. Bowen were my first employers when I was 14 and worked at Orange Julius with the rest of the 'wild crew' that all grew up to be 'adults'. I always liked Mr. Bowen, he was so nice! Doug and I had loads of fun working with Charlie Benton and all of the others at Orange Julius, so I'm enclosing my email address for Mark and Doug. Those were great times to be a working teenager! My parents live back in Columbia from Lake Murray and I also live in Columbia now. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Lisa Tye Margaret and Wayne Tye also
